Frozen Memories

Slip and stumble at my first offenses,

Crush and crumble under your defenses.

You disguise your feelings and hide them

In your chest, and your feeling of remorse

Is swelling once again.

These bonds are shackle free,

wrapped in lust and aguish.

Give up this fight and let’s tear

this tumor out.

You talk in paragraphs I write

my sentence.

Melting of my mind, let’s follow

the snow and fall softly in

the ground.

Nothing else to recall, just as

blank as snow.

Light up my life, sucking

out the memories with

a cigar. I’ll take you in, then

exhale you, I’ll smoke you out

and expose you to the wind,

so you can find your

new way of being.
