Edgar Carrera overcame many odds to produce WHS’ FIRST student-written drama, which raised money for charity and aimed to raise acceptance of the LGBT community. The drama debuted May 27, 2012, at Wixom Theater and raised money for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, Grayslake Animal Shelter as well as the refurbishment of Trapp Auditorium for WHS.
