Winter Break is the best time to kick back and relax without worrying about school. The best place for that is snowboarding at Wilmot Mountain. Wilmot Mountain is in Wilmot, Wisconsin about 35 to 40 minutes away. This is my second year snowboarding there.
During break, my friends and I went there about 7 times. It seems weird since there wasn’t any snow on the ground in Waukegan, but Wilmot makes their own snow. It is just like real snow but they use machines that use compressed air and water to make it. I spend most of my time at the terrain park. I’m really into doing big air tricks, sliding on boxes and rails. Just recently, I learned how to air over large gaps. I also learned how to method grab.
Snowboarding is hard at first but you can get the hang of it in no time. I encourage anyone to try it sometime. Prices at Wilmot vary during weekdays, weekends, holidays, and for adults, kids, and seniors. Check out their website to see the prices. I guarantee you will have a fun time when you go!
